Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,
Tahulah dia dah kahwin. Umur baru 24 sudah ada anak umur 2 tahun. “Aku lain, kau lain. Aku nak kau dulu masa kat kolej dulu kau tak nak layan”, jawab Tuah. Diam terus, wakaka! Kesian.

I'm back, for real, because I just finish the final exam, but that finish yet, still lot more to come. I do not write not because I'm that busy, just don't know what to write, no great things to share here. So, as I've something right now, I'd like to share with you'll.
As a 'Syed', I'm the descendent of Ben Hasan As-Saggaf. Previously, we, me and my family, thought that we are the descendant of Ben Shahab As-Saggaf. But after confirming with the expert in this field, we are actually the descendent of Ben Hasan.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, we 'Syed' have Arabic descendant and the Arabs like to have kabilah's or family name based on their father's name. For me it is Ben Hasan As-Saggaf. There are also Al-Idrus, Al-Yahya, Al-Habsyi, Al-Qadry and many others.
To Arabs, it is a shame if they don't know who they are descending from. Mainly, all of them know their father's side and some of them don't know their mother's side because the mother is not arabs. My mother is descendent of Al-Idrus.
In Malaysia, they are 2 groups of arabs, the 'Syed' and the 'Syeikh'. For the 'Syed' they are partnered with 'Sharifah'. Some were called ‘Sharif’ and ‘Saidah’. For the 'Syeikh' they are partnered with 'Siti'. And for the 'Syed', they are from Bani Hashim, but I don't know about the 'Syeikh'.
A lot of Arabs came to Malaysia from Yemen and Indonesia. Most of them came as mubaligh or businessman (the were mubaligh/missionaries who do business for living) , and later decided to stay after being married to local women.
A few of them are popular like Syed Sirajudin the Raja Perlis, Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhari one of the richest Malaysian, and Syed Hamid Al-Bar, former Minister of Defence and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
That's all I know about Arabs in Malay Land or 'Tanah Melayu' or Malaysia.
Wallahualam.
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu.
